Advertise: To draw attention to a product, service or event in a public medium in order to promote sales or attendance

I think most of most you would agree that advertisements are annoying (at least I would say they are). Sometimes though, there is a product that is so great, that you think everyone should know about (like gamesonlineforfree.googlepages.com). Possibly though, the individual is just rather mean and wants to make you mad. Or, possibly they just want money. In either case, hear goes nothing.
